This amazing wedding took place in the idyllic town of South Bend, Washington. It is absolutely one of the most gorgeous places I've been on earth. Of course it's beautiful, it rains and rains and rains! We were constantly checking the weather reports the week of the wedding to see what kind of weather we would be dealing with, and know how to approach shooting the wedding. The ceremony was planned to be indoors, and it was a beautiful location at the town courthouse, but with such a stunning location we knew wanted to do some outdoor portraits.
The day of the rehearsal arrived, and it didn't just rain, it poured, and the forecast was not looking very hopeful. We knew we could get everything we needed with the indoor locations so we were just going to go with it.
The day of the wedding, we woke up and saw some sun peeking through our window. When we walked outside, this was our view:
Needless to say, it was a breathtaking day, not a drop of rain. Between the weather, the courthouse, and the gorgeous couple, we had the perfect day.
