Matt & Stephanie

For our very first shoot of 2014, we got to capture the engagement of our friends Matt & Stephanie.  I LOVE engagement sessions.  Watching the interaction of two lovebirds and catching moments between them is so special and fun.  

We came across this abandoned building a few days before the shoot and I loved the colors and the textures everywhere.  We tried a different location first, but it was busy with people  and just not working, so we hopped in the car and ran over to this spot.  I could't be happier with the results!

Ezra

The girls in my family are so fun to photograph.  They love the camera, as it loves them, so we are often doing shoots together.  This time, we decided my nephew needed a turn (or really my sister was just anxious for photos of her little man!).  Being a 3 year old boy, Ezra presented a fun challenge for us.  Not only were we having to run after this very active little guy, but it was also freezing and quite windy.   We got about 20 minutes of good shooting in, and that was all we needed.   Thankfully my sister's little town of Windsor, CO provided a great vintage feel, and it was perfect!
