Zack & Susanna - July 5th, 2014 {Feature Film}

Our wedding films are so personal to us. Getting to know our clients and capturing their celebrations is such an incredible honor, and this one was especially so. We absolutely loved getting to know this sweet couple and their amazing families. The love and honor on display was absolutely beautiful.

Casa Rondena Winery provided a stunning setting for the day, even with a wild day of weather. Anyone in Albuquerque knows that the beginning of July is a pretty safe be for an outdoor event, so when the rain moved in, we all expected it to move off quickly. We were so wrong! Though it poured buckets through the reception, the venue and caterer (Blue Plate Special) did an awesome job of getting everything moved around, and the guests just went with it, to make an incredibly memorable evening.

The Scifres Family - July 2014

So many people are nervous to be in front of the camera and dread the idea of sitting for 'formal photos', especially families of 6! Moms are stressed, kids are restless, and the whole experience can be a nightmare. That's why one of my favorite comments (and greatest compliments) from my clients is how much fun they've had. This was one such family.

The Scifres were such a blast to work with! When they arrived on location for our shoot, I could not believe how cute they all were together and how much fun they were to photograph. I am so excited to share these images! The best part of the night though was after we'd wrapped, receiving a message that the kids actually thanked their momma for bringing them to the shoot!!  It was a definite success!
